Located within the Marsa Sports Club complex, the RMGC course is a par-68 course that spans approximately 4,576 metres. Despite being shorter than many international courses, it provides a challenging and enjoyable experience for golfers of all skill levels due to its narrow fairways, water hazards, and well-placed bunkers. The surrounding landscape, which includes views of the historic aqueducts and proximity to Valletta, adds a layer of visual interest and historical charm.

The 18-hole course has undergone significant upgrades over the years, most notably in the early 2000s when a major course redesign and renovation project was completed. The course features Bermuda grass and is maintained to international standards, making it suitable for year-round play thanks to Malta's mild winters and hot, dry summers.
