Chetcuti Cauchi partner appointed STEP Malta Chair

Chetcuti Cauchi partner Dr Priscilla Mifsud Parker has been named Chair of the Malta branch of private client professional organisation STEP, the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners.  Priscilla, has taken on the three-year term as the head of STEP Malta after serving in the STEP Malta Branch Committee for many years in the capacity of Secretary and Chair of the Technical Committee.  

Today more than ever before, STEP Malta's role is crucial in supporting its members in transitioning to a new world order for Maltese trust and estate practitioners.

Dr Priscilla Mifsud-Parker is a Maltese Advocate and the head of Chetcuti Cauchi's Corporate Services, Estates and Trusts Practice Groups.   Priscilla is a Maltese advocate and licensed immigration lawyer.  A senior partner at Chetcuti Cauchi, Priscilla has more than 15 years' experience as a corporate, tax and immigration lawyer specialising in private client advisory and structuring work.  She was invited to speak at national STEP conferences on the subject of trusts and foundations law and has addressed numerous international conferences on the subject of international estate planning.

Chetcuti Cauchi runs one of the leading tax, trust and estates law practices on the island.  The firm has a longstanding relationship with STEP since 2004 with Chetcuti Cauchi's lawyers contributing to the operation of STEP Malta branch in various capacities.  Dr Priscilla Mifsud Parker has occupied the positions of Secretary and Chair of the Technical Committee, before her recent appointment as branch chair.  The firm's managing partner Dr Jean-Philippe Chetcuti has held positions of Branch Secretary, Technical Chair and Branch Vice Chairman, and finally STEP Malta Branch Chair between 2013 and 2016 before retiring from the branch committee.
