The Malta Lotteries and Gaming Authority has now published new regulations covering more Gaming Activities than under the previous laws. Activities such as online casinos, casino-style games, betting exchanges and lotteries will now be permitted.

This framework has the objective of providing regulation which is strong and serious but not unnecessarily bureaucratic, ensuring vigorous protection for users of on-line gaming and dovetailing with Malta’s long-established and reputable financial services sector.
